Frank Grillo stars as Nick Monohan in a supernatural drama about a picturesque gated community and the dark secrets that lurk beneath its surface. Nick is the new police chief of the community, who, along with his wife and two children, starts to discover the truth about their new home and its supernatural inhabitants.
In addition to his work on The Gates, Grillo has a trio of films to be released this year -- "Warrior," directed by Gavin O'Connor, opposite Nick Nolte and Tom Hardy; the Wes Craven thriller "My Soul to Take," and "Mother's Day," a thriller with Jamie King and Rebecca De Mornay, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. Previous film credits include "Edge of Darkness," with Mel Gibson, directed by Martin Campbell; Gavin O'Connor's "Pride and Glory," with Colin Farrell and Edward Norton; Steven Spielberg's "Minority Report," with Tom Cruise; and "The Sweetest Thing," with Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate.
Grillo has a number of memorable television credits to his name, including starring roles on "The Shield," "Prison Break," "The Kill Point" with John Leguizamo, "Battery Park" with Elizabeth Perkins and "Blind Justice" with Ron Eldard, as well as guest star appearances on "Law & Order: SVU," "Without a Trace," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "CSI: NY," "Las Vegas" and "The District."
